Job description

EPIC Health Partners is urgently hiring compassionate and motivated Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) to join our Mobile Crisis Program. This position plays a critical role in providing rapid crisis response, stabilization, and communitybased behavioral health support to individuals experiencing acute mental health needs. Services are delivered under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This role is wellsuited for both experienced professionals and individuals beginning their careers in behavioral health who are committed to recoveryoriented care and timely crisis intervention.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct crisis intervention and stabilization services within the community.
  • Support the completion of initial assessments and assist in the collaborative development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) under the direction of a licensed professional.
  • Utilize deescalation techniques and provide basic mental health education to support individual stabilization.
  • Accurately document all service notes and submit documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
  • Ensure all documentation, including required signatures, is uploaded in a timely manner and that all charts remain 100% compliant.
  • Assist with care coordination through referrals and discharge planning to connect individuals with appropriate internal and external behavioral health resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of program operations.


Qualifications

  • Active registration as a QMHP with the Virginia Board of Counseling
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field
  • DBHDS Statewide Crisis Training Certification
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience providing crisis services
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Successful completion of background check, Central Registry clearance, and TB screening
