Description

The Epic Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst is an embedded Revenue Cycle SME responsible for functional support, optimization, and issue resolution across Epic Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), and Claims workflows. This role partners closely with Revenue Cycle leadership and IT to align system functionality with operational, regulatory, and financial goals.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide advanced functional support and configuration guidance for Epic HB, PB, and Claims

Serve as liaison between Revenue Cycle and IT for system issues, enhancements, and initiatives

Troubleshoot complex revenue cycle issues across billing, claims, and payments

Support professional billing workflows including charge capture, claim edits, and reimbursement

Drive optimization initiatives (clean claims, DNFB reduction, denial prevention)

Support claims processes, payer rules, and compliance with Medicare/Medicaid/commercial payers

Analyze workflows and align Epic functionality with best practices

Develop reporting insights using Clarity, Cogito, and Caboodle

Lead stakeholder sessions, workflow reviews, and end-user training

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $53.00/hr.
