Overview

CTG is seeking an experienced Epic Willow Analyst.

Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months

We are seeking an experienced Epic Willow Analyst to support a new Epic implementation focused on ambulatory pharmacy services. This role will lead the design, build, testing, and activation of outpatient pharmacy workflows within Epic Willow Ambulatory.

The analyst will partner with pharmacy leadership, ambulatory providers, nursing, revenue cycle, and IT stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant outpatient medication workflows during implementation and go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Build

  • Lead configuration and build within Epic Willow Ambulatory for a net-new implementation.
  • Design outpatient dispensing workflows, refill protocols, and medication work queues.
  • Build medication records, pharmacy product records, NDC mapping, and formulary structures.
  • Configure routing rules for e-prescribing, prior authorizations, specialty pharmacy, and retail pharmacy workflows.
  • Support integration with provider ordering workflows and downstream systems.

E-Prescribing & Regulatory Compliance

  • Configure and optimize electronic prescribing workflows, including controlled substances (EPCS).
  • Support state PDMP integration and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with DEA, state board of pharmacy, and other regulatory standards.
  • Build and support real-time prescription benefit (RTPB) and prior authorization integrations where applicable.

Revenue Cycle & Specialty Integration

  • Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to support billing configurations and pharmacy claims workflows.
  • Support 340B program configuration (if applicable).
  • Assist with specialty pharmacy workflows, refill management, and adherence programs.
  • Validate medication pricing and reimbursement setup.

Interfaces & Integration

  • Partner with interface teams to support integrations with third-party pharmacy systems, wholesalers, and clearinghouses.
  • Support SureScripts connectivity and troubleshoot transmission errors.
  • Collaborate with ambulatory and clinical application teams to ensure end-to-end workflow integrity.

Testing & Go-Live Support

  • Develop and execute build validation and integrated testing scripts.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Participate in cutover planning and go-live activation.
  • Provide at-the-elbow support during implementation and stabilization.

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain detailed build documentation and configuration records.
  • Participate in medication governance and formulary review committees.
  • Support training material development and knowledge transfer.

Background in settings that prioritize behavioral health as a core component of patient care is strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
