Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic EDI Analyst with an active Epic Bridges certification to support an Epic implementation initiative.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting interfaces between Epic and third-party systems, ensuring reliable interoperability across clinical, financial, and operational applications.
This role requires strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, interface troubleshooting, project implementation, and collaboration with technical and operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Bridges interfaces.
  • Configure and support HL7, FHIR, X12, XML, web services, and other healthcare integration standards.
  • Collaborate with application teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders to define interface requirements and workflows.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to develop integration solutions that meet organizational objectives.
  • Monitor interface performance and proactively resolve issues impacting data exchange.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of interface errors, message failures, and data discrepancies.
  • Participate in Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and execute interface testing plans, including unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, workflows, and support procedures.
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements related to healthcare data exchange.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as required.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Epic Bridges Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Epic interface development and support experience. Strong understanding of HL7 v2.x messaging standards. Experience with healthcare integration engines such as Cloverleaf, Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Corepoint, or similar platforms.
  • Experience troubleshooting interface and data integration issues.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $72.00 to $82.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
