What is an Epic agency?

An Epic Agency is a company that specializes in providing services related to Epic Systems, a leading provider of electronic health records (EHR) software for healthcare organizations. These agencies offer consulting, implementation, optimization, and support services to help hospitals and clinics maximize the benefits of their Epic EHR systems. Their teams typically consist of experts in healthcare IT, project management, and workflow optimization, ensuring that clients achieve smooth transitions to Epic and improve overall efficiency. By partnering with an Epic Agency, healthcare organizations can better manage patient data, streamline operations, and comply with regulatory requirements.

What are some typical projects and team structures within an agency specializing in Epic implementations?

Within an agency that specializes in Epic (Electronic Health Record) implementations, projects often involve collaborating with healthcare organizations to customize, integrate, and optimize the Epic software. Teams are typically multidisciplinary, including project managers, Epic-certified analysts, trainers, and technical support staff. You can expect to work closely with both internal team members and client stakeholders, navigating challenges such as tight go-live schedules and complex workflow requirements.
