The Producer plays a key role in driving sales growth by acquiring new business and managing client relationships. This position is responsible for increasing market penetration within an assigned territory while retaining and strengthening existing client accounts. Success in this role requires a strong focus on business development, account management, profitability, and customer retention.

The Producer must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to review and adjust coverage options and pricing as market conditions evolve. Building trust with clients and providing tailored insurance solutions are essential to long-term success in this role.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Contact and follow up on assigned leads to develop new business opportunities
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist walk-in clients by assessing their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate policy terms, coverage options, and pricing with clients
  • Review and analyze client requirements, qualifications, exposures, and risks to recommend suitable insurance products
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
  • Collaborate proactively with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to identify opportunities and provide exceptional client support
  • Monitor market trends and participate in rate negotiations and policy reviews as needed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of insurance industry experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License
  • Ability to write and service:
    • General Liability
    • Workers' Compensation
    • Excess Liability
    • Business Auto
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with AMS360 is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
