Job Title: Epic Administrator

Location: Remote (Yale)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with on-call support)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Epic Administrator to support system maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing optimization of the Epic environment. This role involves hands-on support for Epic Hyperspace, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring smooth performance across virtual desktop environments. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a remote setup while being available for after-hours and on-call support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Epic system upgrades, maintenance activities, and deployments
  • Provide technical support for Epic Hyperspace client environments
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and connectivity issues
  • Manage and support VDI environments such as Citrix and VMware Horizon
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and weekend upgrades
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support via pager/phone as required
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and security compliance
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders for issue resolution

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Client System Manager Certification (Required at submission)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, or related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience supporting Epic environments
  • Hands-on experience with Epic Hyperspace (upgrades, deployment, troubleshooting)
  • Experience with Citrix / VMware Horizon / VDI environments
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends

Compensation

  • Starting Salary: $82,742.40 annually (based on experience)

Additional Information

  • Fully remote role (Yale)
  • On-call support required (24/7 rotation)
  • After-hours and weekend availability is expected
