Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for the community’s physical plant, grounds and equipment in-order to ensure a safe environment.

Position Responsibilities of an Environmental Services Supervisor:

* Repairs and maintains or supervises repairs and maintenance of the physical structure of the facility and equipment or obtains professional maintenance of equipment and/or facility
* Assists in maintaining the grounds including mowing, weeding, raking, trimming and the shoveling of dirt and snow.
* Maintains all records for the Environmental Services departments, conducts preventative maintenance program
* Cleans and maintains all mechanical and electrical systems
* Orders and distributes all supplies for laundry, housekeeping and maintenance
* Orients new hires on fire safety, SDS and lock out tag out procedures
* Participates in the QAPI process
* Responsible for departmental scheduling
* Overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the building and laundry services
* Performs heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing
* Overall responsibility for the building during emergency situations which may require working outside of normal business hours

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be licensed to drive without restrictions.
