About BHA Community Living:  BHA Community Living provides 24/7 residential support for individuals with developmental disabilities in structured, person-centered homes. Program Managers play a critical leadership role in ensuring daily operations run safely, consistently, and in alignment with behavioral, clinical, and regulatory standards-supporting both staff success and meaningful outcomes for individuals served. 


Position Summary:
Behavioral Health Allies (BHA) is seeking a highly accountable and hands-on Community Living Program Manager to lead daily operations within assigned 24/7 residential homes. In this role, you are directly responsible for the quality, safety, compliance, staffing, and culture of your homes, serving as the primary leader for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Shift Supervisors.


Program Managers are embedded leaders who ensure consistent execution of services, strong team performance, and high-quality outcomes for individuals served. This role requires strong presence, follow-through, and the ability to lead in real time within dynamic residential environments.


You will be responsible for building and sustaining high-performing teams, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and ensuring all supports align with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and person-centered, trauma-informed care practices.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead daily operations of assigned residential homes and directly supervise DSPs and Shift Supervisors
  • Ensure individuals served receive safe, consistent, and person-centered supports at all time.
  • Implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), Individual Support Plans (ISPs), and daily routines with fidelity
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management for direct care staff
  • Ensure homes remain clean, safe, structured, and compliant with all standards and regulations
  • Oversee medication administration, health-related supports, and required documentation (MARs, logs, reports)
  • Monitor staffing levels, schedules, and coverage to ensure 24/7 continuity of care
  • Respond to behavioral escalations and crises using approved crisis intervention techniques (PCM)
  • Conduct audits of documentation, safety practices, and staff performance
  • Partner with clinical, nursing, and operations teams to support coordinated care delivery
  • Ensure ABA-based interventions and behavioral programming are implemented accurately and consistently
  • Address performance issues and hold staff accountable for expectations and outcomes
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new and existing employees
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure homes are audit-ready at all times
  • Manage client funds, budgets, and operational expenses within assigned homes
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent staffing or operational needs
  • Communicate clearly with leadership regarding risks, staffing concerns, and home performance

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or management experience required
  • Experience in residential services, HCBS, behavioral health, or similar settings strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or challenging behaviors required
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to coach, train, and hold staff accountable
  • Working knowledge of BSPs, ISPs, DMH, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Ability to remain calm, decisive, and effective in high-pressure or crisis situations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience with documentation, audits, and compliance expectations
  • Ability to interpret and support ABA-based programming and behavioral data
  • High level of accountability, emotional resilience, and follow-through
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet transportation requirements if needed

Starting Salary: Our compensation is competitive within the market. The starting rate for this position begins at $60,000 annually, with your final offer based on a combination of your education, relevant experience, and overall qualifications.Â
