Eastern Environmental Solutions, Inc. is an established and growing environmental remediation company seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to join our leadership team.ย  The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in waste disposal, DOT compliance, and supervisory roles, with a strong commitment to safety, regulatory excellence, and operational efficiency.
For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year.ย  Compensation will be based on experience, license and other factors permitted by law.
Key Responsibilities:
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Oversee day-to-day field and facility operations related to environmental remediation and hazardous/non-hazardous wasteย  ย  ย  ย  ย management.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT, NYSDEC, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Supervise, train, and support field staff and drivers to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Coordinate transportation and disposal logistics for various types of waste streams.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Implement and improve operational policies and procedures to maximize performance and minimize risk.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintain accurate records, including manifests, inspection logs, and incident reports.
Qualifications:
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย 5+ years of experience in environmental remediation, waste disposal, or related industry.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย In-depth knowledge of DOT compliance and transport regulations.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
