About Us:
Accura Engineering & Consulting Services is a leading engineering firm providing high-quality design, inspection, and consulting services for a variety of clients, including federal, state, and local agencies. We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with Project Management experience to join our team and lead complex projects from conception to completion.
Position Overview:
The Civil Engineer - Project Manager will oversee and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience working on projects related to transportation, infrastructure, or site development.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee civil engineering projects, from planning to design and construction.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and engineering standards.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, and construction documents.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings as needed.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals, client presentations, and relationship-building.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
  • PE license required or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
  • Experience in transportation, roadway design, site development, or infrastructure projects is preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • PMP certification is a plus
