Moody Engineering is seeking an experienced and growth-minded Site-Civil/Transportation Project Manager to join our fast-growing team in Columbus, OH. Working at Moody Engineering offers a unique environment thanks to our diverse project portfolio and experienced personnel.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering design for roadway or site development projects
  • Perform site grading and drainage, utility design, parking lot design, storm sewer design, and stormwater management calculations
  • Support business development and client interface
  • Project management planning, monitoring, and implementation
  • Assist in proposal preparation, including the development of scope, schedule, and fee negotiation
  • Ability to manage multiple project teams and work with our Columbus and Cleveland offices
  • Lead technical review, QA/QC, and technical mentoring program
  • Provide advice and creativity to resolve any potential problems/deficiencies quickly
  • Take a project from due diligence through construction
  • Coordinate the execution of projects with our staff, our clients, and our project team members

Educational Qualifications:

  1. Professional Engineer License (PE) for the state of Ohio is required
  2. BSCE from an ABET-accredited College or University is required


Ideal Candidate Skills Include:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • 7+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Infrastructure Suite
  • 7+ years of experience working with Architects & Engineers on site development plans
  • 3+ years of experience working with MicroStation
  • 3+ years of experience working on State, County, and City Transportation Projects
  • Experience with site development documents and permitting preferred with the City of Cleveland and Columbus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams with minimal oversight
