Job description


This position is 40 hours per week, Evenings, Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm. Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.
To provide an efficient and comprehensive housekeeping service to users while contributing to enhancement of patient care and the environment in accordance with the Joint Commission and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and departmental policies. The Housekeeping service plays a vital role and is included as part of the department team to ensure that a pleasant, safe, welcoming and clean environment is provided to patients, visitors and staff.
Salary Range:
$19.24 - $24.37 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred; 6 months experience required.
  2. Experience: 6 months experience required or successful completion of the outlined criteria for ESW-2 position demonstrated to supervisor
  3. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instruction
