  • Coordinate and execute social media content, calendars, and posting schedules.
  • Execute marketing campaigns, content plans, and initiatives developed in partnership with our external marketing agency.
  • Ensure content is delivered consistently, on time, and aligned with established marketing strategy and brand voice.
  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress.
  • Maintain an accurate and engaging online presence across Google Business Profile, Yelp, BBB, Angi, and other relevant platforms.

  • Create content that showcases The Bug Master's services, employees, expertise, and company culture.

Skills & Abilities

  • Creative mindset with the ability to turn ideas, information, and business needs into compelling content.
  • Foundational understanding of content marketing, social media, digital marketing, and brand voice.
  • Ability to create written, graphic, photo, and video content across multiple digital channels.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple content needs, assignments, and deadlines.
  • Comfortable executing an established marketing strategy while collaborating with internal teams and external marketing partners.
  • Ability to receive feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and quickly apply what you've learned.

Requirements

  • Basic photo and video creation and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to work full-time and in person in Austin, Texas.
  • Ability to occasionally work in the field to capture photo, video, and other content to support marketing initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • 1+ year of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or content creation preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Relevant internships, freelance work, volunteer experience, or demonstrated personal projects may be considered in place of professional experience.
  • Portfolio or examples of writing, social media, graphic, photo, or video content preferred.
