We are looking for motivated and talented Software Project Managers who want to make an impact now and build a career path for the future.
The Technical Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage technical projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. They align projects with customer needs and requirements, construct detailed work plans, achieve milestones, and communicate the results across a stakeholder audience. They organize projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Drive projects from Inception to delivery managing budget, timelines, and quality goals. Identify, analyze, mitigate, and proactively respond to project, financial and operational risks.
  • Execute delivery process so that the distributed resources can work as an effective, objective driven and collaborative global team.
  • Provide leadership and help foster a work culture that recognizes, supports individual differences in work styles, personalities, cultures and values to maximize team performance and effectively achieve team goals.
  • Putting in place a continuous improvement program with focus on identifying and implementing best practices, measuring performance and drive improvements.
  • Leverage the existing tools or put in place new ones to ensure effective execution of projects.
  • Helping manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, new vendor selection processes, renewal solutions, maintenance and support.
  • Certified in any agile project methodology, SAFE methodology preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing a global delivery model.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, manage and measure Global IT delivery processes.
  • Strong leader with proven ability to manage resources, both FTE and Vendor; develop a high-performing team of IT Professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills; able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to forge consensus among competing constituents on critical and time sensitive issues.
  • Management style that exhibits high energy, efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness and a result orientation.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Key personal characteristics include being Ethical and values driven; innovative and open to different ideas/viewpoints.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • This position will be a hybrid work position working Mon-Wed out of our Cincinnati, OH office.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field is required.• PMP certification is a plus.• At least 2-3 years of related project management or account implementation/account management experience.• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.• Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.• Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.• Ability to adapt to change.• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.• Extremely organized with great attention to detail.• Excellent customer service skills.• Knowledge and experience using project management software.• Ability to act as a team player.• Ability to travel, up to 25% as necessary.
