Job Summary

Designfusion is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to add to our technical team. You will oversee and coordinate all aspects of technical services projects. This role combines expertise in project management, client relationship building, and technical understanding to ensure the successful and timely delivery of services that meet and exceed client expectations. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams, ensuring seamless project execution, resource alignment, and high-quality results. This position offers a dynamic mix of technical, managerial, and customer-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for a candidate passionate about delivering impactful solutions through Siemens software and technical services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Collaborate with the sales team and client to gather project requirements, analyze scope, and develop accurate time and resource estimates for project completion. Work with the sales team to ensure all estimates and SOWs are aligned with technical capacity and client expectations. Use PM tools to build and maintain project plans ensuring all progress is tracked and communicated to enhance transparency and traceability.
  • Team Support: Assign and manage daily tasks, project schedules, and training for the software and services technical team. Conduct regular check-ins with the technical team to review completed projects, ensuring all project deliverables are met, and discuss areas for improvement. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members by discussing workload, current challenges, and constructive feedback.
  • Reporting and Communication: Present detailed weekly reports to the U.S. Director of Operations that outline the current status of active projects, including timeline to completion, milestones, and potential roadblocks. Act as a bridge between the technical and sales teams to foster clear and effective communication. Regularly communicate project updates, deadlines, and resource needs to all necessary teams.


Qualifications and Skills

ยท      Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, industrial manufacturing, digital manufacturing, engineering, project management, or a related industry.

ยท      Associate or higher degree in business, project management, engineering, industrial technology, communications, entrepreneurship, or a related field.

ยท      Excellent organizational and time management skills.

ยท      Strong understanding of digital manufacturing and mechanical engineering processes.

ยท      Experience managing technical teams, including mentoring team members, allocating resources, and optimizing team performance to meet project goals.

ยท      Professional presence with strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts.
