Associate Field Application Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associated Field Application Engineer to support our
engineering and operations teams. This is a hands-on, entry-level technical position involving technical
support, client interactions, equipment testing, quality assurance, deployment preparation, and AI data preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist both clients and field engineers with troubleshooting and debugging hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
- Prepare and perform initial QA checks on equipment and materials for customer deployments.
- Test systems and equipment under various scenarios to evaluate accuracy, reliability, performance, and compliance.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and document RMA/returned equipment.
- Provide occasional remote technical support to customers and field personnel.
- Document testing results, technical issues, and troubleshooting activities.
- Label and annotate 3D point-cloud data used for AI/machine-learning training.
- Review completed labeling for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong sense for customer service.
- Degree or technical background in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field preferred.
- Comfortable working with computers, networking, and electronic equipment.
- Able to work within Linux environment.
- Background and familiarity with test script writing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document results.
- Familiarity with networking, AI/ML, LiDAR, 3D point clouds, or hardware testing is a plus.
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is dependable, technically curious, hands-on, and
eager to learn.
