Our dynamic portfolio - including ultra-long range flagship LiDAR sensor Falcon, mid-to-short range LiDAR sensor Robin and perception service software platform OmniVidi - powers automotive and ITS solutions for partners like NIO, Faraday Future, Exwayz and Hexagon. Currently, over 200,000 Falcon units are in use, and the product continues to be mass-produced today.

HR Generalist & Office Administrator
Seyond is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist & Office Administrator to support core people operations and keep our Sunnyvale office running smoothly. This role is a strong fit for an organized, service-minded professional who enjoys variety, solves problems quickly, and creates a welcoming employee and candidate experience.
What You'll Do
People Operations & HR
  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, onsite logistics, and applicant tracking.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding logistics, including documentation, equipment, workspace setup, and employee orientation.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and workflows in the HRIS, including benefits and leave administration.
  • Support payroll processing and partner with Finance on reporting, reconciliation, audits, and recordkeeping.
  • Coordinate immigration-related documentation with employees, internal stakeholders, and outside counsel.
  • Prepare recurring HR reports and help improve people processes, data quality, and the employee experience.
Office Administration & Employee Experience
  • Oversee daily office operations, including space, supplies, food, cleanliness, safety, and general functionality.
  • Serve as the onsite point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, facilities requests, mail, and deliveries.
  • Manage office vendors, services, equipment inventory, repairs, and maintenance within approved budgets.
  • Plan and support team events, company celebrations, community activities, and occasional after-hours setup.
  • Provide flexible administrative and logistics support for cross-functional projects as business needs evolve.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience across HR operations, recruiting coordination, payroll support, and/or office administration.
  • Working knowledge of HR records, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and confidential employee information.
  • Strong organization, judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, professional communication and a service-oriented approach with employees, candidates, and vendors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with an HRIS, ATS, or payroll platform is preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Sunnyvale, lift up to 30 pounds for office and event setup, and occasionally support events outside standard hours.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional local errands and vendor visits.

Preferred: experience in a startup or high-tech environment; familiarity with ADP, Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever; and Mandarin proficiency.
Base salary: $70,000-$95,000 per year. This position may be eligible for a performance-based bonus and equity.
Benefits: This role is also eligible for Seyond's competitive employee benefits package.
