We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal to join our trial practice in Omaha.
This is not an entry-level position, nor is it an administrative support role. This opportunity is designed for an accomplished litigation paralegal who takes pride in mastering the details, values doing things the right way, and finds deep satisfaction in helping build cases from intake through trial.

This position is intended for a litigation paralegal who is comfortable working in a fast-paced plaintiff practice and who takes pride in building cases the right way. Candidates without Nebraska or South Dakota personal injury or medical malpractice experience should not apply.

Responsibilities
• Manage case files from filing through resolution across Nebraska and South Dakota
• Collect, organize, and analyze medical records and billing
• Prepare detailed medical chronologies and identify key issues in causation and damages
• Draft discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and prepare materials for expert review and disclosure
• Assist with depositions, including scheduling, preparation, and summarizing testimony
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, including exhibits, witness coordination, and trial notebooks
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with Nebraska and South Dakota procedural rules
• Assist with settlement documentation, subrogation, and other liens, and case closing
Qualifications
• Minimum of three years of plaintiff personal injury or medical malpractice litigation experience required
• Experience handling cases in Nebraska and/or South Dakota required
• Strong working knowledge of the civil litigation process from filing through trial
• Experience with ordering medical and billing records, handling subrogation matters
• Experience drafting discovery and working with expert witnesses
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex cases
• Strong written and verbal 8. communication skills
• Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
Experience:
PI or Med Mal Paralegal: 3 years (referred)
