This Claims Attorney / Associate Attorney position is ideal for a motivated plaintiff personal injury attorney who thrives in a fast‑paced, structured environment. You will manage personal injury claims from intake through settlement, working closely with clients, insurance carriers, and internal support staff. • Manage a high‑volume caseload of plaintiff personal injury claims
• Communicate frequently with clients regarding case status, expectations, and strategy
• Draft, review, and prepare demand packages and negotiation materials
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties
• Handle settlement distributions, including liens, subrogation, and third‑party interests
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff
• Assist with business development and client relationship initiatives
• Attend court proceedings as needed
• Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina
• Member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
• 1–5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload with professionalism
• Experience supervising or collaborating with legal support staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong client‑service mindset

Preferred

• Experience handling complex claims involving liens and subrogation
• Strong settlement negotiation track record
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced legal environment
• Prior experience in a multi‑state or high‑volume personal injury practice
