This Claims Attorney / Associate Attorney position is ideal for a motivated plaintiff personal injury attorney who thrives in a fast‑paced, structured environment. You will manage personal injury claims from intake through settlement, working closely with clients, insurance carriers, and internal support staff. The role requires strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a high‑volume caseload while maintaining exceptional client service. Occasional travel and court appearances may be required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage a high‑volume caseload of plaintiff personal injury claims
  • Communicate frequently with clients regarding case status, expectations, and strategy
  • Draft, review, and prepare demand packages and negotiation materials
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties
  • Handle settlement distributions, including liens, subrogation, and third‑party interests
  • Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff
  • Assist with business development and client relationship initiatives
  • Attend court proceedings as needed
  • Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines



WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina
  • Member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
  • 1–5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload with professionalism
  • Experience supervising or collaborating with legal support staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong client‑service mindset
