Most CAE roles are about analysing someone else's designs.
This one is about helping some of the automotive industry's biggest organisations deploy AI into real engineering environments.
I'm working with a fast-growing, well-funded AI business (over $120M raised) that's building technology to support engineers, not replace them. With a team of just 53 people, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact from day one.
This isn't a traditional simulation role.
They're looking for an experienced Systems or CAE Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, working directly with customers and bridging the gap between mechanical engineering, software and AI.
You'll be involved in deploying AI into highly regulated automotive environments, working alongside OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to ensure solutions are technically robust, practical and ready for real-world use.
You'll likely have experience with:
โข Systems engineering across the full product lifecycle
โข Verification & Validation (V&V)
โข ANSA, Ansys or Abaqus
โข CATIA V5/V6 or HyperWorks
โข Customer-facing engineering or technical consulting
โข Automotive or another highly regulated engineering sector
Why people are interested:
โข $170,000-$235,000 base salary
โข Competitive equity
โข Small, high-calibre engineering team
โข Work at the intersection of automotive engineering and AI
โข Genuine ownership rather than being another engineer in a large organisation
You'll ideally be based in South Florida or be open to relocating. Candidates based in Detroit, Irvine or Washington DC are also encouraged to get in touch. US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
