About the Role
As a Trading Systems Engineer at Da Vinci, you'll work closely with a team of skilled traders, researchers and software engineers. You'll be responsible for managing our trading systems, making sure they run smoothly in day-to-day operations, with future growth in mind.
As our trading systems are highly customized, balancing stability with ongoing change is one of the key challenges in this job. Our engineers often need to learn on the go, so we are looking for people who enjoy exploring unfamiliar territory.
Da Vinci offers an exciting and dynamic work environment, where employees are given the freedom to come up with great ideas and the space to push these to completion. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing and successful company, and to play a key role in achieving our ambitious goals for our new Miami office.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee system performance, stability and uptime

  • Familiar with tooling and best practices regarding change, life cycle and incident management, as well as health and performance monitoring of production systems
  • Proficient with scripting (e.g., bash, python)
  • Quick at analyzing issues and uncovering their root causes
  • Eager to learn and understand all aspects of the trading environment
  • Ability to spot inefficiencies and proactive in optimizing systems
  • Strong communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

Benefits:
  • An opportunity to work beside the best in the field
  • Competitive base salary based on experience
  • Excellent variable pay based on performance
  • Outstanding performance is also rewarded with shareholding in the company
  • Relocation package when moving across states
  • Training period in Amsterdam to get to know the team
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Meals during work hours
  • Social events and after-work drinks
