What Are Remote Embedded Jobs?

Remote embedded jobs include positions within the software and development industry that focus on engineering, developing, and maintaining software for embedded systems and networks. Common titles include “remote embedded software engineer” and “remote embedded developer.” Embedded software has a specific task related to the operations of a hardware system. As an embedded software engineer who works from home, your duties include coding software to perform a particular function, such as the control of a piece of machinery or the collection of data from a system. As a remote embedded software developer, you perform a similar job and sometimes help clients customize embedded software. You may also work as a remote quality assurance engineer where your responsibilities involve testing existing software.

How does a Remote Embedded Engineer typically collaborate with cross-functional teams while working offsite?

Remote Embedded Engineers often work closely with hardware, software, and quality assurance teams, even when not physically present. Job description

CEO - Business Growth Advisor (Remote)
Company: How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm (HTM)Location: 100% Remote (AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, WA)Compensation: $110,000 base | $182,000+ total earnings potential
About the Role
How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm helps small-to-mid-sized law firms and businesses get unstuck and scale. As a CEO on our team, you'll be embedded directly with our clients as their most trusted growth partner , diagnosing what's broken, installing the strategy, and driving execution alongside the owner until results are real and measurable.
This is high-impact, hands-on operator work. Our clients rely on us when their business is underperforming or plateauing, and you'll be the person who turns that around.
What You'll Do
  • Embed & Execute - Step directly into businesses as a high-EQ growth partner. You install strategy and drive execution, not just advise.
  • Diagnose & Optimize - Rapidly identify revenue leaks, operational friction, and structural inefficiencies - and eliminate them.
  • Drive Accountability - Translate business chaos into clear, focused action plans and hold owners accountable to executing them.
  • Build Enterprise Value - Focus obsessively on profitability, cash flow, and execution discipline to scale businesses in the real world.
What You Bring
  • 12+ years of experience as an active CEO, President, COO, or senior operating executive
  • A proven track record of directly scaling businesses in the $5M-$35M+ range
  • Experience coaching, advising, and challenging business owners on growth, not just reporting to boards
  • The diagnostic instincts to walk into a business, immediately spot what's broken, and prioritize what actually moves the needle
  • A leadership philosophy rooted in absolute ownership, execution, and radical transparency
This Role Is NOT For You If
  • You prefer high-level strategy without owning day-to-day execution
  • You want a traditional, top-down corporate hierarchy
  • You need polished, pre-built corporate systems rather than the grit to build and fix them
Compensation & Location
  • Base Salary: $110,000
  • Total Earnings Potential: $182,000+ (performance-based earnings scale directly with the measurable impact you drive for clients)
  • Work Environment: 100% Remote
  • Eligible States: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, WA (Due to current entity registration, candidates must reside in one of these states)
How to Apply
Submit your resume along with a brief answer to the following question:
"Describe a small business you scaled and the single biggest operational change you made to get there."
