Job description

Role Summary
This position involves supporting internal engineering operations initiatives through effective project coordination and communication. The role is designed for an entry-level project management professional who can collaborate within technical teams to enhance operational efficiency. The focus is on managing multiple projects, facilitating meetings, tracking dependencies, and driving process improvements to support engineering objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end internal engineering projects, including tooling improvements, platform migrations, process automation, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reports to ensure clear visibility for all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, project kick-offs, and recurring status meetings; document decisions, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to define project scope, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Track project dependencies across teams and escalate risks or blockers to senior project managers and leadership.
  • Assist with resource coordination and prioritization of engineering initiatives.
  • Support the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of new engineering requests.
  • Maintain accurate project data within tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within engineering operations and recommend effective solutions.
  • Assist in resolving issues and ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, technical project management, or engineering operations support.
  • Experience working in a technical environment with software and systems engineering teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
