Award-winning toy company YuMe Brands is seeking to fill an experienced E-Commerce Specialist to work onsite (4/1) from our El Segundo office. This opportunity offers tremendous potential for advancement, ideal for someone seeking career development.

The E-Commerce Specialist is a results-driven execution role focused on driving growth across our expanding portfolio of licensed toys, costumes, and consumer products. You are responsible for the day-to-day execution of sales and pricing strategies across Amazon, Walmart.com, TikTok, Shopify, and Faire. As a key member of the digital commerce team, you will act as a primary internal lead, maintaining daily contact with our full-service E-commerce agency to ensure alignment, track performance, and execute high-level account strategies as directed by the E-Commerce Sales Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Management & Troubleshooting:
    • Account Operations: Execute all daily activities for Amazon (VC/SC), Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, Faire, and TikTok.
    • Technical Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot platform-specific hurdles, including:
      • Listing Health: Resolving suppressed listings or data errors.
      • Compliance & IP: Managing Letters of Authorization (LOA) and Intellectual Property (IP) claims.
      • Buy Box Maintenance: Monitoring and reclaiming Buy Box wins against competitors.
    • Platform Integration: Oversee the technical handshake between sales channels and internal systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Content & Listing Excellence:
    • Catalogue Oversight: Manage the end-to-end listing process, ensuring all SKUs are correctly identified and categorized..
    • Asset Coordination: Oversee the deployment of images, A+ content, and listing collaterals in alignment with brand guidelines.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay at the forefront of e-commerce innovation, including new AI tools, A+ content features, and platform updates.
  • Inventory & Logistics Execution:
    • Warehouse Liaison: Coordinate and track inbound/outbound shipments with our 3PL warehouse to ensure stock continuity.
    • Inventory Planning: Support the E-Commerce Lead by monitoring stock levels and providing data for replenishment cycles.
    • Logistics Tracking: Maintain real-time visibility on shipment statuses and resolve carrier or receiving issues.
  • Data, Forecasting & Reporting:
    • Sales Analysis: Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate high-level retail sales reports and performance tracking.
    • Forecasting Support: Prepare historical data, comparative analysis, and competitor benchmarks to assist the E-Commerce Lead in projecting sales volume and profit for new and existing products.
    • Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing research into competitor distribution, new launches, advertising tactics, and consumer trends across social and digital platforms.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Marketing Execution: Work closely with the marketing team to execute e-comm-specific initiatives across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels.
    • Brand Alignment: Ensure all platform activity remains strictly in line with licensing category development and brand strategy.
    • Administrative Excellence: Facilitate meeting recaps, wrap-up documents, and professional resolution of customer escalations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Minimum of two years of professional experience in e-commerce. A degree featuring coursework in Digital Marketing, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Computing is highly preferred.
  • Platform Expertise: Proven experience executing sales and marketing strategies on Amazon (Vendor and Seller Central) is required. Hands-on proficiency with Shopify, WordPress (Woo), and Walmart Marketplace is a significant advantage.
  • Analytical & Technical Mastery: Advanced Excel Skills: Must be highly proficient in MS Office, specifically using Excel for complex retail sales analysis, data manipulation, and reporting.
  • Research Savvy: Skilled in internet research and competitor benchmarking to extract actionable market insights.
  • Industry Passion: A genuine interest in entertainment licensing, consumer products, and the toy industry. You stay curious about new retail trends, AI tools, and platform innovations (like new A+ content features).
  • Operational Mindset: Detail-Oriented & Organized: A zero-error approach to managing product SKUs, pricing, and platform compliance.
  • Trouble-shooter: The ability to navigate complex platform issues (LOA’s, IP claims, Buy Box) with persistence and precision.
