The Credit Administration Group (CAG) Associate is an entry level position in the Credit Administration department. The associate will participate in and learn various job functions within the department to fulfill its responsibility to manage a safe and sound commercial bank loan portfolio and operation. The associate will participate in daily tasks in the areas of loan accounting, credit analysis, loan monitoring and reporting, and additional duties as assigned. The associate will report to the SVP of Credit Administration, and work closely with colleagues across different functions and executives. The right candidate should be curious and eager to learn, have a willingness to participate in tasks and projects as assigned, and a desire to evolve in a growing organization.

Essential Job Functions

Learn and manage segments of the Bank’s Payroll Protection Program forgiveness efforts.

Assist in daily operations in the department which includes but is not limited to:

- Loan system entries for new/renewed and modified loans
- Maintenance and reconciliation of loan entries
- Process advances, paydowns, and demand statements
- Perform monthly certifications at Accounting/Finance’s direction
- Assist in the review of loans in the bank’s portfolio:
- Support collection efforts for borrower financials
- Conduct term loan reviews/analysis on loans in the Bank’s portfolio
- Recommend risk ratings and follow up actions in collaboration with Lending
- Assist in portfolio analysis (concentration analysis, industry review, stress test, and others as assigned)

Secondary Job Functions

-Advise management on potential improvements of process and/or products.
-Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by Manager.
-Comply with all BSA and other Bank’s training and procedures.
