About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying prospective customers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales career who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with people, and is eager to grow within a fintech organization.

The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales development, understands fintech or payment terminology, and is comfortable working with modern sales tools like HubSpot. Exposure to AI tools or AI-driven sales workflows is considered a strong asset.

This role will work closely with sales leadership and collaborate during onboarding/training with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify potential B2B clients through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels)
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline updates in HubSpot
  • Research target companies and decision-makers within fintech, payments, and related industries
  • Build and manage outbound cadences and follow-up sequences
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve outreach effectiveness
  • Consistently achieve activity and pipeline generation targets
  • Stay informed on industry trends, fintech terminology, and payment solutions
  • Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and prospect engagement strategies
QualificationsRequired
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales
  • Experience working in a B2B environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot CRM
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high-growth environment
Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking technology, or financial services
  • Familiarity with payment instruments and fintech terminology
  • Exposure to AI tools, AI-assisted sales workflows, or automation tools
  • Experience working in startups or scaling companies (50+ employees preferred)
  • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions
