Job description

Ally Behavior is a full-time, center-based, early intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program, serving children with autism ranging from 18 months to 6 years of age. Job Summary:

We are looking for an Entry-Level Insurance & Revenue Cycle Analyst who can support a variety of needs within the company's insurance and billing department. The department is responsible for ensuring that all clients are authorized for therapeutic services, all clinicians and center locations are credentialed with insurance payors, and is responsible for maintaining a healthy revenue cycle and cash flow. Candidates for this role should expect to assist with the insurance and billing process at all stages and provide overall support for the families we serve. Our ideal candidate has extremely strong attention to detail in addition to being professional, energetic, organized and driven.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Verifying medical health benefits and eligibility
  • Submitting pre-authorization for ABA, SLP, and OT services
  • Submitting credentialing applications to insurance companies
  • Submitting demographic information to insurance companies
  • Posting and reconciling payments in our Practice Management System
  • Auditing Accounts Receivables
  • Conducting follow-up calls with insurance companies
  • Following up on claims
  • Billing clients for Patient Responsibility and reconciling payments with our Practice Management System
  • Taking and documenting detailed notes
  • Data entry and categorization
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience with accounts receivables,insurance claims or other relevant work
  • Familiarity with health insurance and billing
  • Fantastic collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortability speaking with insurance representatives over the phone
  • Diligence and thorough work when moving throughout the insurance process
  • Keen attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to pass MD/VA state and FBI background check in addition to a sex offender background check
