POSITION OVERVIEW
Operating Room RN leadership role overseeing daily perioperative operations, staffing, and department performance

SCHEDULE

Manage daily operations of Operating Room department and perioperative workflows

Support recruitment, retention, development, and performance management of OR staff
Collaborate with physicians, leadership teams, and interdisciplinary departments to achieve organizational goals
Support process improvement, patient-centered outcomes, and quality initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Texas Board of Nursing requirements
Maintain safe patient care operations while adhering to departmental budgetary and operational standards
Provide direct patient care support and charge nurse coverage as operationally needed

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED
Current Texas RN license or compact license REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years clinical Operating Room or related perioperative experience REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience REQUIRED
Strong leadership, staffing, and operational management skills REQUIRED
Experience within acute care surgical environment REQUIRED
Professional certification in clinical area or management preferred
