Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an RN Clinical Manager for the Operating Room at an acute care hospital in Houston, Texas.
POSITION OVERVIEW
โ€ข Provides leadership to the Operating Room department
โ€ข Oversees daily operations and departmental staff
โ€ข Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient care
โ€ข Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care
SCHEDULE
โ€ข Split/Evening Shift
โ€ข Typical hours include 2:00 PM โ€“ 10:00 PM or 1:00 PM โ€“ 9:00 PM depending on need
ROLE
โ€ข Manage daily operations of a patient care department
โ€ข Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling
โ€ข Serve in charge nurse role and provide patient care as needed
โ€ข Collaborate with physicians, management, and staff
โ€ข Participate in program evaluation and process improvement
โ€ข Support continuity of care and patient experience
โ€ข Recruit, retain, and develop staff
โ€ข Provide performance feedback and participate in evaluations
โ€ข Ensure compliance with regulatory and nursing standards

Requirements:

โ€ข Active Texas RN license or compact license REQUIRED
โ€ข Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED
โ€ข Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED
โ€ข Minimum 2 years Operating Room acute care experience REQUIRED
โ€ข Minimum 3 years current OR management experience REQUIRED (supervisor, assistant manager, clinical manager, or director)
