EECU is seeking an Indirect Auto Lending Service Representative to support the Indirect Lending team by processing indirect loan documentation, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with dealership and member account servicing.

This entry-level position serves as an introduction to EECU’s Indirect Lending operations, with a starting hourly rate of $19.00 based on experience.

Responsibilities include reviewing and entering indirect loan packets, processing dealership drafts and payoff checks, monitoring lien perfection documentation, and assisting with recovery of ancillary product refunds on charged-off auto loans. The role also supports compliance with Texas SB1052 requirements by maintaining documentation related to GAP and other prorated refunds.

The Indirect Service Representative works closely with dealerships, Accounting, and internal departments to ensure accurate funding, proper lien recording, and timely resolution of outstanding accounts. Additional responsibilities include preparing status reports, processing daily transactions, and providing backup support to Indirect Funders.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of or ability to learn systems such as Symitar, MeridianLink, TERES/SAIL, TXDOT, eFunds, and OFAC is required.

Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Reg B, Reg Z, Service Members Civil Relief, FCRA/FACTA, Bank Bribery Act and NCUA Privacy Regulations. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.

Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:

  • One to three years indirect lending services experience
  • Must have analytical skills and be computer proficient
  • Must possess title experience, knowledge of auxiliary products and drafting process
  • Strong decision-making ability, good judgment and meet deadlines
  • Extremely detailed, able to handle a fast paced atmosphere
  • Able to effectively communicate to the dealers in order to obtain completed loan packets in a timely manner for funding
  • Ability to deal with members and/or dealerships in difficult situations
  • Must be able to reconcile general ledger accounts in a timely manner with accuracy
  • EECU will, in compliance with applicable laws, evaluate an applicant's credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions.
