As a Remote LCPC, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy plans that meet the specific needs of each client.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and communication on client progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to keep abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health.

Your work will directly impact clients who are navigating mental health challenges, including those facing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance misuse, and more. By providing tailored therapy options, you will facilitate better coping strategies and overall improvement in their mental health and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of the legal, ethical, and professional standards guiding mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to streamline documentation processes.

While not required, candidates with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or the treatment of substance abuse issues will stand out. A proven track record of teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting is also highly valued.
