Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Fully in-office in Radnor, PA
The Entry-Level Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the accounting department. This role focuses on recording cash receipts and disbursements, processing daily journal entry files, and assisting with the month-end close and internal financial statement preparation.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:
Accounting Operations
  • Record daily cash receipts and disbursements accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and process daily accounting tasks including disbursements and interfaces from external systems.
  • Maintain accounting records and files.

Monthly Close & Reconciliation
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly closing binder containing the Company's monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Perform account analyses and assist with the preparation of ad hoc analyses, reports and special projects as needed.
  • Identify ways to continuously improve the monthly accounting close process through technology and process enhancements.

General Ledger & Journal Entry Management
  • Prepare required journal entries and assist with the maintenance of the general ledger and other Oracle accounting modules.
  • Maintain strong internal controls in the accounting department, including reconciliation of key accounts to supporting sub-ledger or detail.

Audit, Budget, and Reporting Support
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of documentation for the annual audits, annual budgets and other internal and external reporting as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Internship or relevant work experience in accounting preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to identify and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, specifically Microsoft Windows and Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting systems; Oracle experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
