We are currently recruiting to add an experienced projects manager to our Wholesale Electrical Lighting Projects team in Sacramento, CA. This role is responsible for handling our customer's needs from beginning to end. This includes walk-in requests, taking incoming calls, emails, and faxes for quote requests and sales orders. Managing all sizes of Lighting Projects from start to finish and working with outside sales representatives and other departments to insure customer satisfaction. Lighting Sales is responsible for product knowledge, understanding current CA Energy Efficiency Standards, old & new technologies, and upcoming products from Lighting MFG's. Additional duties include researching customer problems, following up on orders and quotes, and managing any RGA inventory they are responsible for, as well as attending product classes and online courses with our vendors.

  • Must be cognizant of all necessary components required to complete the requested bill of material.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalence of five yearsโ€™ experience:

Ability to read and interpret documents and writes Language Skills routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Eclipse software, Outlook and vendor websites.
