Overview

Join to apply for the Reading Partner role at Literacy Partners. Literacy Partners strengthens families through a two‑generation approach to education. With free classes, community workshops, and educational media, low‑income parents develop literacy and language skills needed to succeed in today’s world. Our research‑based curriculum incorporates child development and parenting support to help parents boost children’s early reading, school readiness, and social‑emotional growth.

Responsibilities

Volunteers provide one‑on‑one reading help for parents of young children and other adults to help them achieve their reading goals and feel more comfortable reading with their loved ones. The program will run from September 2025 – June 2026 on a weekly basis. Reading Partners provide reading help for parents of young children and other adults to help adults achieve their reading goals and feel more comfortable reading with their children.
