Job description

Overview

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center's (DHMC) Radiology-Diagnostic department at our Lebanon, NH campus has openings for a Technical Aide.

The Technical Aide supports the daily operations of the imaging department and helps ensure patients, technologists, and radiologists have an efficient and safe workflow.  This is an entry-level role and is a great pathway into careers such as Radiologic Technologist, nursing, or other allied health professions.  

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, day-shift position.  

Responsibilities
  • Performs limited duties of the receptionist and file clerk, such as answering telephones and maintaining departmental files.
  • Restocks supplies in examination rooms and the core area. Maintains a clean and safe environment.
  • Provides for patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Makes basic observations and reports information to staff. Handles body fluids using universal precautions. Assists in lifting, positioning, and ambulating patients.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.
  • Qualifications
    • High school graduate with good interpersonal skills.
    Required Licensure/Certifications
    • BLS required at hire.
