Overview:

BBF Technologies is a leading semiconductor equipment and industrial process equipment manufacturer located in Wilsonville, OR.   

We are a small manufacturing company seeking a Warehouse Inventory / Purchasing Assistant.  The ideal candidate will be excellent at multi-tasking, detailed oriented with an outgoing friendly personality.  Must be able to work with a diversity of individuals with a commitment to excellence

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Purchasing Assistant. The Warehouse/Purchasing Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining efficient purchasing processes, ensuring that all necessary items and supplies are available for our organization. This position will require coordinating with vendors, processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and be able to effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and gain valuable experience in warehouse operations and purchasing. This is a full time position operating 8am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.  


Responsibilities:

  • Works directly under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager
  • Creation and closing of work orders and production entries.  Involves careful calculation of labor cost and material usage.
  • The ability to learn and retain specific information regarding procedures, parts identification, and part number correlation.
  • Receiving of incoming Shipments.  Checking for errors, damage and quality.  Checking in, identifying parts and receiving purchase orders into our manufacturing software (MAS 90/Sage 100). 
  • Kitting and distribution of purchased products for individual jobs.
  • Pulling parts for fabrication when needed.
  • Maintain warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion, includes sweeping, cleaning and organization of inventory and receiving area.
  • Daily cycle counting and organization of inventory.
  • Purchase shop supplies and equipment.
  • Answer incoming phone calls as a back up.
  • Monitor due dates, expedite and follow up of existing purchase orders.
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with coworkers and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft outlook, excel and word.  MAS 90/Sage100 is beneficial.
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • The ability to lift 50lbs on occasion.
  • Fork lift certified is a plus.
  • Must be an innovative team player.
  • Must be able to multi-task and adjust to changes and interruptions.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of bending, squatting, walking, and lifting 50lb on occasion
