Job description

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders. Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products.
Pay: $22.10-$24.24 hourly
The Millworks Door Builder is responsible for the accurate building of interior doors for customer orders. They will also be responsible for transferring the material from the Interior Door Department to the Shipping Department staging area while acting in a safe and professional manner.
This position reports directly to the Manager and works closely with the warehouse team.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Building doors accurately, safely, and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensuring the quality of material before shipping
  • Verify material backorders
  • Inform management and purchasing agent of material needs
  • Moving product within the warehouse, with a forklift if needed
  • Promptly report all accidents/incidents
  • Sit as member of the safety committee as requested
  • Keep area clean and organized
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English required
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Must be able to be mobile in warehouse
  • Must be able to move heavy awkward objects in warehouse
  • Must be able to operate all machines and tools necessary to complete door orders
  • Able to listen to and follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work amidst a busy work environment
  • Shoes that are puncture resistant, slip resistant, and made of leather or composite material required

  • Ability to work cordially, professionally, diplomatically, and with a high level of customer service in a dynamic environment

Working Conditions
The Millworks Door Builder primarily works in a warehouse environment. They are expected to work 40 hours a week, with weekends and overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Lift up to 100 pounds, and lift, push or pull 50+ pounds frequently
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Local travel may be required
  • Ability to utilize all appropriate safety equipment
