Job description

We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills to join our Client Service team in a hybrid role. This is a unique role and would be perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in the marketing field. This role will allow you to gain knowledge and experience in a variety of roles. As an Account Coordinator, you will support our team on internal and client projects. You will work closely with the various internal project teams including Project Management, Analytics, Technology, Creative, Strategy, and the Marketing Automation teams. You are a a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and can think out of the box. This role will serve as an internal support for a variety of functions: from leadership to Project Management, and Account. You will be trained in account management, project management, marketing automation, and other disciplines. You will establish a comprehensive understanding of marketing, advertising, client expectations and business processes.


This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn about all aspects of how an agency works, inside and out. We expect anyone hired in this role to eventually be promoted and move into a more specialized role within an agency discipline based on your interests, experience, and demonstrated skillsets. If you like to work on lots of different types of tasks and projects and aren't afraid to learn as you go, this is the role for you!


Primary Responsibilities

  • Entry-level work in client service and project management with the support of more senior team members
  • Take clear and actionable meeting notes and circulate to relevant team members
  • Track and follow-up with internal team members on action items
  • Assist Project Management with generating project timelines and burn reports
  • Support Account Service staff with scheduling client calls and PM with scheduling internal calls
  • Work with the Project Management team to support complex projects, managing project management tools, tasks, schedules, project communication and plans.
  • Support leadership in managing agency website and social media (blog post, social posts)
  • Support leadership with organizational and operations support
  • Setting a high bar for quality, attention to details and flawless execution
  • Be a team player by upholding the agency's high standards both internally and with clients
  • Collaborate with team to streamline internal processes as needed
  • Support the New Business team: gather and organize content for Proposals, RFI/RFPs, client research, internal CRM management, etc.
  • Support agency Partners in completing tasks as needed For example, researching a category of technology tools for clients, identifying agency competitors, developing internal social media marketing plans, etc. Don't worry, we won't ask you to go get anyone's dry cleaning.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person, by phone and over email with high integrity. Comfortable with clients and presents as highly professional
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, plan workloads, and deliver on commitments
  • Love of learning new things, including a demonstrated ability to pick up and understand business and technical subject matters quickly
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Innovative, bring new ideas, and provide fresh perspectives on current processes
  • Very detail oriented and deeply organized
  • Ability to manage multiple work assignments with a variety of internal components and requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Solution-oriented, is able to come up with solutions to uncommon problems
