KSC is a Heavy Civil Contractor specializing in Earthwork, Grading, Utilities, Site Concrete, and Structural Concrete.
Position Overview
We are a booming construction company seeking a Part-Time Project Coordinator. This is a vital support role designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers excellent local growth and advancement opportunities within our Project Management structure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance & Tracking: Manage and track SCR (Service Connection Requests) and SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) notices and documentation.
  • Utility Coordination: Execute and maintain Blue Stakes (utility locate requests) and ensure all updates are handled timely to prevent project delays.
  • Permitting: Oversee the application, tracking, and organization of project permits and compliance documentation.
  • Project Management Support: Maintain project logs, assist with coordination tasks, and manage essential project paperwork.
  • Safety & Policy: Successfully implement the Company's safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple project deadlines.
  • High degree of attention to detail, specifically with regulatory and legal documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with field crews, utilities, and agencies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to read and interpret basic project documents or maps (a plus).
  • Self-motivated; ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Previous experience in construction coordination or a similar field is a bonus but not required.
