Familiarity with project management software like Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project, and certifications such as PMP or CAPM, are commonly valued. Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities help you effectively coordinate tasks and stakeholders within limited hours. Part time project managers use the same tools and methodologies as their full-time counterparts, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Flexibility and strong communication skills are key to success in this position.

Job description

Job Title: Creative Marketing Associate (Part-Time)

Job Family: Marketing

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Job Location: Corporate Office | American Fork, UT

Pay: $18-$20 hourly

ABOUT US

We're not just in the tanning business; we're in the confidence business. At Beaches Tanning + Spa, we help people feel amazing in their own skin every single day. With 12 locations (and more on the way!) and a team full of energy, style, and personality, we've built a brand that's all about great vibes, real connection, and results you can see and feel.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ready to bring your creativity to the Beach? Beaches Tanning + Spa is looking for a Part-Time Creative Marketing Associate who can channel the warmth and essence of our brand into every project. Based at our corporate office in American Fork, UT, you'll be a key player on our marketing team-bringing ideas to life across email, web, print, blogs, swag, and more!

As the Creative Marketing Associate, you're equal parts designer, thinker, and storyteller. You know great design isn't just aesthetic-it drives action. You can move seamlessly from crafting polished campaign visuals or playful sticker concepts, to writing engaging blog posts or clever product descriptions without missing a beat. Whether you're early in your career or bringing years of experience to the table, we're looking for someone who's ready to jump in, contribute, and grow with our team.

If you're a detail-obsessed, creatively driven thinker with a portfolio you're proud of-we want to see it.

If you know how to blend humor with intention, have strong design instincts, and can turn ideas into content people connect with-we're already obsessed.

If you believe in the power of a great tan, treat self-care like it's non-negotiable, and can translate that into visuals that make people want the full Beaches experience-this.is.your.moment. Let's make waves together!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Multi-Channel Design + Creative Storytelling

  • Bring the Beaches brand to life-through visuals and words that feel warm, fun, and impossible to ignore
  • Design on-brand visuals across email, website, social media, print, in-store materials, and more that support marketing campaigns or business objectives
  • Design retail and product-related materials like stickers, brochures, merch, packaging, or whatever else we dream up next
  • Contribute to campaign ideas, headlines, and messaging that connects real humans with our awesome brand
  • Write blog content that educates, inspires, and gives people a reason to choose Beaches (and, you know, supports SEO/marketing goals)

Brand + Campaign Support

  • Translate big ideas into cohesive, on-brand creatives across every touchpoint
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute campaigns from concept à launch à "wait that did so well??!"
  • Help keep our brand voice, vibe, and visual identity consistent (and recognizable) everywhere
  • Stay curious, stay inspired, and bring fresh ideas, trends, and "wait...what if we did this?" energy to the team-we know you have great ideas and want to hear them

Performance + Growth

  • Juggle multiple projects at once while moving fast + meeting deadlines (*hair flip*)
  • Stay flexible + roll with it – priorities shift, needs evolve, and you know how to adapt without missing a beat
  • Balance creativity with efficiency + strong attention to detail (because great ideas still need to get done on time and done the right way)
  • Take feedback like a pro-apply it, refine your work, and keep leveling up

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A portfolio with shining examples of your expertise and projects you are proud of; giving us a taste of how your skillset can effortlessly compliment and further elevate our brand (design experience in beauty, fashion, self-care, apparel, or a closely related field preferred)
  • Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other relevant tools
  • Experience in preparing files for print production, understanding print processes, and ensuring high-quality output across various mediums
  • Strong understanding of web design principles, including experience creating responsive designs and familiarity with HTML/CSS for minor adjustments and template customization preferred
  • A clear, engaging, and personality-filled writing style
  • Capable of working 15-20 hours weekly at our Corporate office in American Fork, UT
  • Strong project management skills and adeptness at working under tight deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor, unwavering integrity, and sound decision-making.
  • Meticulous attention to detail while remaining highly efficient.
  • A genuinely good sense of humor-we're serious about not being boring
  • Physical demands: must be able to lift 30+ lbs, stand and/or sit for long periods

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE

  • Free tanning + spa services (yes, unlimited self-care is part of the job)
  • Access to employee-only lotions and 30% off products-because great skin is kind of our thing
  • Casual office dress-where looking good and feeling comfortable aren't mutually exclusive
  • Be part of a creative, collaborative team that's hands-on, fast-moving, and genuinely fun to work with (just ask us)
  • See your ideas + work come to life-in stores, online, and beyond
  • Real growth opportunities-we love promoting from within and giving our team room to level up
  • Work on a brand people love, in an industry that's fun, visual, and always evolving
  • Be surrounded by a team that cares about each other, the work, and the brand
