The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.

The Configuration and Data Management Department is seeking an entry-level candidate for a Data Manager to work within the Data Management and Execution section.

What You Will Do

  • Identifies all data deliverables made part of a contract and subsequently builds a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system
  • Identifies the appropriate preparers, receives the data, reviews for compliance, solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval
  • Delivers the information to the Customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of the contract
  • Responsible for reviewing Sub-tier contractor requirements, building data tracks for supplier submissions, receiving data from various suppliers
  • Routing for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables to the U.S. Government Customer, as well as securing non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Data Management or Configuration Management experience
  • Knowledge of Government defense contracts, specifications, and instructions
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to complete multiple competing tasks on time and effective organizational skills

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
