Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday 3:00PM – 11:45PM; OT & On-Call as needed; Essential Personnel

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Packaging Technician, you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you would label and crosscheck LifeNet Health Finished Goods Tissue, receive and document receipt of processed contract tissue, maintain inventory control for the finished goods storage area, release finished goods tissue into inventory, stock, packing and labeling supplies.

This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor’s gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.

Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Performs accurate labeling and packaging of finished goods following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Utilizes SAP and RF units according to SOPs.
  • Performs crosscheck of labeling and packaging of finished goods in preparation for transfer to LifeNet Health inventory.
  • Document the receipt of processed tissue from contract clients.
  • Unpack finished goods inventory from irradiation all while following SOP guidelines.
  • Receives, inspects, and stocks packaging and labeling supplies.
  • Performs daily recording of Key Performance Indicators on the by hour/by day chart. Identifies and communicates nonconforming materials/conditions as necessary.
  • Performs quarterly dose audit verification for all product types.
     

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of production or assembly experience


Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Two (2) years of SAP experience preferred
  • Two (2) years manufacturing, production, tissue bank, organ procurement, medical device, or related industry preferred
     

Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Attention to Detail: Able to ensure accuracy and completeness in accomplishing tasks
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $19.75 to $22.44/hourly


Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $19.75 hourly (entry level qualifications) to $22.44 hourly (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
