Your Impact:
This role combines end-to‑end procurement operations with vendor lifecycle oversight to ensure INPRS procures goods and services efficiently and compliantly while maintaining strong vendor performance and risk controls.
Essential Duties:
Procurement Operations & Sourcing:
• Receive and review incoming requisitions and maintain procurement system data.
• Partner with Finance to ensure proper payment of invoices.
• Assist in planning and executing purchases of goods and services.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, negotiated bids, and drafting procurement documents.
• Contribute to sourcing strategies and Statements of Work.
Vendor Lifecycle Oversight & Compliance:
• Maintain and analyze vendor population and coordinate updates.
• Support vendor onboarding and compliance activities.
• Maintain schedules and improve the vendor management program.
Contract Management & Systems:
• Maintain vendor and contract management software.
• Track contract expirations and facilitate renewals.
• Maintain contract files.
• Coordinate with Legal and Procurement for appropriate contract content.
Reporting, Audit & Analytics:
• Prepare data for auditors and support inquiries.
• Create ad hoc and complex tracking reports.
• Support Strategic Initiatives and related projects.
Stakeholder & Vendor Relationships:
• Maintain relationships with Business Owners, Finance, Legal, and vendors, from a procurement perspective.
• Represent INPRS professionally with strong customer service.
Operational Support:
• Manage office supply purchases, ordering, receiving, and recordkeeping.
Job Requirements
Knowledge & Expertise:
• Governmental procurement laws, policies, and procedures.
• Vendor management procedures, templates, and systems.
• Accounting and auditing standards.
• Ability to prepare procurement documents and interpret contract language.
Skills & Abilities:
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail; proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience with enterprise accounting systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement, vendor management, or contract administration experience.
