Reports to:ย Director of Operationsย 

Position Overviewย 

Mission Triangle is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator or Specialist to execute and support marketing and communications for our organization.ย Based on the right candidate's experience, skill set, and preference, the position may be full-time or part-time and may emphasize primarily tactical execution or include increased responsibility for marketing strategy and planning. Entry-level or junior candidates will focus more on execution and skill development, while more experienced candidates may help shape strategy, campaigns, and growth initiatives.ย 

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator / Specialist plays a key role in communicating with current nonprofits and champions, while also helping Mission Triangle grow by marketing our mission, programs, and offerings to new nonprofits and champions. This role helps increase awareness, engagement, and participation in Mission Triangle'sย workย toย help Christian-led nonprofitsย increaseย theirย Kingdom impact.ย 

Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

Marketing & Communications Executionย 

  • Execute marketing and communications across email, social media,ย physical, and digital platformsย 

  • Manage the communications content calendar and coordinate messaging across teamsย 

  • Create written and visual content to support organizational goals and campaignsย 

  • Design graphics and visual assets as neededย 

  • Track engagement metrics and make improvements to communications over timeย 

Champion Marketing & Communicationsย 

  • Partner with the Development Team to promote champion events, fundraising initiatives, and cultivation effortsย 

  • Create newsletters, thank-you communications,ย eventย collateralย and campaign follow-up materialsย 

  • Support end-of-year fundraisingย communications and the design of the annual reportย 

Nonprofit Marketing & Communicationsย 

  • Partner with the Program Team to communicate with nonprofits through newsletters, event invitations, and program updatesย 

  • Promote Mission Triangle's no-cost and fee-based offerings to increase awareness and participationย 

  • Highlight nonprofit stories, outcomes, and impact through multiple channelsย 

Growth Marketingย 

  • Support marketing efforts to attract new nonprofits and championsย 

  • Assistย with outreach and campaigns that build awareness of Mission Triangle's mission, services, and impactย 

  • Contribute ideas and execution support to increase engagement and reachย 

Marketingย PathWayย (LMS)ย 

  • Execute marketing and communications forย PathWay, Mission Triangle's learning management systemย 

  • Promoteย PathWayย to existing nonprofits to encourage awareness, adoption, and engagementย 

  • Support marketing efforts introducingย PathWayย to new nonprofitsย 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to clearly communicateย PathWay'sย value, outcomes, and use casesย 

Social Mediaย Managementย 

  • Manage Mission Triangle's social media presenceย 

  • Create and publish content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebookย 

  • Engage with nonprofits, champions, and partners via social mediaย 

  • Capture photos and stories at events for marketing and communications useย 

Marketing Strategy (Scope Based on Experience)ย 

  • Depending on experience and interest, this role may also:ย 

  • Contribute to or help lead marketing planning and campaign strategyย 

  • Help define target audiences, messaging, and goals for key initiativesย 

  • Recommend improvements to marketing systems, tools, and processesย 

  • Partner with leadership on ideas to strengthen outreach, engagement, and growthย 

Qualificationsย 

  • Must be a follower of Jesus Christย &ย agreeย with Mission Triangle's statement of faithย & coreย valuesย 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsย 

  • Experience orย demonstratedย ability in marketing, communications, email campaigns, social media, and graphic designย 

  • Experience with Canva, Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Adobe Photoshop or similar toolsย 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesย 

  • Comfort working independently and collaborativelyย 

  • 4-year degree preferred, but not required depending on experienceย 

  • Mission Triangle welcomes candidates ranging from entry-level to experienced marketing professionals. The scope of responsibility and strategic involvement willย adjustย accordingly.ย 

Compensation & Benefitsย 

Competitive compensation based on experience and role scope. Benefitsย vary depending on full-time or part-time. 401K with match is available regardless of full-time or part-time status.ย 

Working Conditionsย 

This role is primarily office-based, with most hours occurring during core business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm). Hybrid or remote work for 1-2 days per week may be discussed.ย
