Our facility in Cape Canaveral, FL has an immediate opportunity for an entry level 1 Manufacturing Support Team Member Associate to join our mission in supporting the FBM Team as a lead for procurement activities, such as generating Purchase Requisitions, tracking procurement status, generating weekly reports for project health, identifying issues, and coordinating deliveries from other Lockheed Martin locations. In this role, you will communicate daily with Subcontracts, Design Engineering, and Project Management to work through supply chain challenges and will also provide opportunities for you to develop creative solutions to complex issues.
What will a typical day in this role involve? You will...
• Support the procurement of required Category 2 material for support equipment
• Generate Purchase Requisitions and work closely with Subcontracts, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering and Project Engineering on the procurement of support equipment
• Interface daily with internal and external customers to communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable partners
• Serve as backup POC for the SE MRP planners and MBOM and Routing Creation
Basic Qualifications:
• Fundamental knowledge of planning and/or logistics principles, MRP/ERP, Demand Management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products to include Team's and excel knowledge
• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelors degree
• 0-2 years of experience with Supply Chain Management and/or Manufacturing
• Ability to analyze and understand/interpret drawings
• Experience with SAP or other comparable enterprise resource planning tool
• Experience with FBM, EPDM, SAP, SAIIL MAS and GIR/eGIR tools
• Should be able to operate independently with little supervision after training
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders or requests
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to operate in a fast paced, team-based environment
