Pharmacy Clerk - Lamoille Health Pharmacy, Stowe, VT - Per Diem

VytlOne is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Clerk to work in our VytlOne managed pharmacy at Lamoille Health Pharmacy, a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy located in Stowe, VT. In this integrated model, the VytlOne pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. VytlOne, headquartered in Amarillo, TX, manages the pharmacy, including personnel.


Responsibilities

  • Preparing and packaging prescriptions for processing; stocking and assembling shipping supplies
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • Must be responsible, organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to interpret computer software and visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
  • Provide friendly and cooperative customer service
  • Greet customers and take prescription orders
  • Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
  • Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
  • Answer the phone
  • Input customer information into the computer system

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Retail or mail order pharmacy experience is a plus.
  • Computer experience mandatory

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
  • High School diploma or equivalent

The targeted compensation is between $18-23/hr based on experience (this is an entry level role.)
