Network and Exploitation Analyst

We are seeking a driven and detail-orientedNetwork Exploitation Professionalwithjunior to mid-level experienceto join our team. This role focuses onnetwork exploitation, protocol analysis, and vulnerability assessment to identify adversary capabilities. Secondary responsibilities include part-timeRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)systems administration to support and maintain infrastructure critical to operations.

You Have:

• 1+ years of experienceinnetwork exploitation, protocol analysis, or cybersecurity operations

• Experience withprotocol reverse engineeringor a desire to grow skills in reverse-engineering unknown or proprietary protocols

• Experience with tools such asWireshark or tcpdump for analyzing, decoding, and working with network traffic

• Experience withLinux systems administration, especiallyRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including updates, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Experience withcontainerizationconcepts and Docker or Podmanfor container management

• Experience usingautomation tools such as Ansibleto automate and streamline administrative or operational tasks

• Knowledge ofnetwork communication protocols, such asTCP/IP,UDP,DNS, HTTP(S), and concepts for theOSI model

• Knowledge of basic programming or scripting usingPython,C,C++, orBashfor automation and network analysis

• TS/SCI clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience withprotocol fuzzingtechniques to test and identify vulnerabilities in communication systems

• Experience with additional offensive tools such asKali Linux,Metasploit, orScapy

• Experience withnetwork device configurationand management such as routers, switches, and firewalls

• Experience creating playbooks or automating workflowswithAnsible

• Knowledge of continuously improvingcontainerized workloadswith tools such asDocker and Podman

• Knowledge ofembedded systems debuggingand protocols likeUART,JTAG, orSPI

• Possession of strong analytical thinking skills andeagerness to learn new technologies and technical concepts quicklyto apply them to problem-solving

• Bachelor's degree inCybersecurity, Computer Science, or technical discipline

• Entry-level Certifications, such asCompTIA Security+,Network+,or RHCSA Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
