Job description

Job Description Who We Are We are passionate about helping children. Our client is a large clinician-owned and operated ABA therapy services providers in the United States, serving thousands of children across 20+ states - and we are growing fast. We are looking for mission-driven leaders to join our team as Center Directors across multiple markets.

If you are a natural connector, an energetic operator, and someone who genuinely loves working with children and families - this role was built for you. Why You'll Love This Role Transform Lives - Every day you show up, you are helping children build confidence, independence, and joy. Be the Face of Your Center - You are the heartbeat of the building - the person families trust, staff lean on, and the community knows.

Grow Your Career - We promote from within. As we expand into new markets, directors who perform grow with us. Strong Corporate Backbone - You are never on an island.

Our team provides deep support across clinical, operations, HR, marketing, and finance so you can focus on leading your center. A Mission You Can Feel - This is not a corporate job. It is a purpose-driven role inside a company built by clinicians who care about outcomes above everything else.

What This Role Actually Is This is a dual-hat role - part community builder, part operational leader. You will be responsible for building the center's presence in the local community, running day-to-day operations, and being the primary point of contact for families and staff. This is not an office job.

You will be on the floor, at the front door, and out in the community. A BCBA on the clinical team handles the therapy side - your job is to make sure the center runs well, the community knows you exist, and every family who walks through the door feels seen and supported. Where You'll Make an Impact Community Outreach & Business Development Lead proactive outreach to daycares, pediatricians, schools, and community organizations to build referral pipelines Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities to grow the center's local presence Build trusted relationships with families before, during, and after enrollment Conduct center tours and follow-up communications to convert inquiries into starts Center Operations & Leadership Oversee daily center operations including staffing, scheduling, parent communication, and facility management Serve as the primary point of contact for families - build trust, manage concerns, and maintain strong relationships Partner with RBTs and clinical staff daily; be present on the floor and willing to jump in wherever needed Collaborate with corporate departments across HR, finance, clinical, and marketing to keep the center running smoothly Handle operational challenges with a calm, solutions-first attitude Team Development & Culture Build and sustain a positive, collaborative workplace where every team member feels valued and supported Assist with onboarding and training of new staff; set the tone for how the center shows up for its families Provide day-to-day coaching and support to staff; be someone they can rely on Represent the center's mission with energy, professionalism, and heart in all interactions Program Oversight & Quality Monitor service delivery quality and family satisfaction; escalate clinical concerns to the BCBA team Use data and feedback to identify opportunities for operational improvement Maintain compliance with center standards and organizational policies Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and operational efficiency What Sets You Apart Required Proven experience in operations, center management, or outreach/business development - ideally in a healthcare, pediatric, or social services setting Experience working with children with special needs, autism, or neurodevelopmental differences strongly preferred Natural ability to build relationships with families, community partners, and staff Hands-on leadership style; comfortable being on the floor and jumping in wherever the center needs you Entrepreneurial mindset - you treat the center like your own business and take ownership of outcomes Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when the center needs it, including occasional weekends Nice to Have BCBA certification or RBT training - clinical familiarity is a plus; not a must Experience opening or scaling a new center, clinic, or service location Background in pediatric home health, regional healthcare operations, or special needs program management What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Continuing education and CEU reimbursement Professional growth and advancement opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization Strong corporate support structure across every department.
