Hiring: Technician-NOC (Network) II | Cary, NC (Hybrid)
Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract- 12 months to 30 months
Environment: 24x7 Operations Support
Must be eligible to obtain a Government Confidential Security Clearance
We are seeking a Technician-NOC (Network) II to support Verizon's Global Customer Operations team. This role is ideal for candidates with networking, NOC, service desk, or telecom operations experience who enjoy troubleshooting network issues and delivering excellent customer support.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support customer network environments
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, and wireless network issues
• Manage and document incidents using ticketing systems
• Escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams
• Monitor ticket queues and ensure SLA compliance
• Provide exceptional customer support and technical assistance
• Support business and government customer environments
Required Skills:
• 3–5 years of networking or technical support experience
• Knowledge of routing, switching, and wireless technologies
• Experience working in a NOC, service desk, or operations environment
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred:
• CCNA, JNCIA, or similar networking certification
• ITIL knowledge
• Service provider or telecom experience
• Experience with ticketing systems and incident management
