Job description

Buildingstars is a commercial cleaning franchisor, with the strongest business model in the industry. Recognized as an Inc 500 and 5000 Company multiple times, an Entrepreneur 500 Company 20+ years in a row, and Buildingstars has been named as one of the Top Workplaces for 9 years in a row. Due to tremendous growth, we are looking an entry level ERP & IT Support Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Maryland Heights, MO. You'll spend the majority of your time supporting and administering our core business applications - primarily NetSuite, along with Google Workspace, Zoom, and SAP Concur - while also providing hands-on technical support for hardware issues, both in person for local staff and remotely for colleagues at our other regional offices (PCs, phones, and related equipment).
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants exposure to both application/ERP administration and traditional desktop/hardware support, with room to grow into a more specialized systems or administration role.
What You'll Do
ERP & Application Support (primary focus)
  • Serve as first-line support for NetSuite users - troubleshooting login issues, permissions, saved search/report questions, and basic record errors
  • Assist with day-to-day NetSuite administration tasks: user setup, role/permission assignments, and basic configuration changes under guidance from senior staff
  • Support and triage issues in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, admin console basics), Zoom telephony, SAP Concur and others
  • Document recurring issues and their resolutions to build out internal knowledge base articles
  • Escalate more complex NetSuite/SuiteScript issues to senior NetSuite administrators/developers with clear, well-documented tickets
  • Help test and validate changes (new fields, workflows, saved searches) before they go live
  • Lead our onboarding/offboarding processes for employees to ensure consistently smooth and efficient transitions - including access controls, hardware configuration and deployment, and inventory management

Hardware & Technical Support (secondary focus)
  • Troubleshoot PC hardware and software issues (desktops, laptops, peripherals) for local staff in person and for staff at other regional offices remotely
  • Support office and mobile phone issues, including setup and basic troubleshooting
  • Assist with new equipment setup, imaging, and deployment for new hires
  • Maintain inventory of IT hardware and assist with basic asset tracking
  • Provide friendly, patient support to non-technical end users, in person and remotely

What We're Looking For
  • 0-2 years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or application support role (internships and relevant coursework count)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ticketing systems, or business applications is a plus - direct NetSuite experience is not required, but a willingness to learn it deeply is
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware troubleshooting (Windows environment)
  • Comfortable picking up new software tools and systems (Google Workspace, Zoom, SAP Concur, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills - you'll be working directly with end users of varying technical comfort levels
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and good at documenting your work
  • A problem-solver who's comfortable saying "I don't know, but I'll find out"
  • You are comfortable interacting with personnel from first day, entry-level employees to tenured executives

Nice to Have
  • Any exposure to NetSuite, SQL, or scripting (even personal projects)
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • A relevant associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent hands-on experience/certifications (CompTIA A+, etc.)
